The Bottom Line: Get yours now! Actually, there is no rush. High Definition was a long time coming; the outcome is worth seeing. With HDMI Cables, not so crowded behind the TV.

The Bottom Line: I was surprised I only spent $250.00 on a unit this packed with features. After spending some time with it, I am pleased with my choice and would recommend it.
Review: Keeping pace with the ever-evolving technology around us is a dizzying experience at best. Home theater does not stay behind and offers us new and exciting products for us to talk about. Such is the Sony DVP-NS700P Progressive Scan DVD player.

Sony DVP-NS700P - Overpriced DVD Player With Progressive Scan

The Bottom Line: The NS700P is overpriced. Other players have better picture quality and do the same and more for less.
Review: The Sony DVP-NS700P is an inexpensive DVD player with ?real? progressive scan (with 2:3 pulldown). Unfortunately, it is more expensive than similar players form Panasonic and JVC, which also play MP3s ? the feature this Sony lacks.

The Bottom Line: I am extremely happy about my purchasing the DVP-NS700P. Its just a bit pricey
Review: Personally, I love this DVD player. I bought it just recently, and havve watched my entire collection on it without any problems what-so-ever.

The DVP-NS700P however is just a bit overpriced. 250$ is a lot of money to spend for this setup,...

The Bottom Line: Get this unit if you want progressive scan capability, better build quality and features than most.
Review: Since the DVD market, especially for recording devices, is getting more active, you might want to wait so you can get a "do-it-all" DVD recorder/player. But if you don't want to wait for the usual shakeout to occur, this player should do well mated...
