Best portable DVD player purchased to date

We have been through three portable DVD players in the past two years due to durability issues, cord issues, skipping issues and just not working at all issues. We have had the Sony player almost six months now and it is still going strong (surviving a 2,000 mile road trip with two toddlers). So far it has been very durable, no cord problems, has not skipped once that I know of, and has never failed to work. It fits perfectly on the console between the two front seats and can be seen just fine by both passengers in the back seats. We purchased a big piece of Velcro to hold it in place on the console. The player stores nicely when not in use. Sound quality is good and the picture quality is excellent. Very durable player with a hard plastic cover over the screen - great for those times it accidentally get stepped on - with two toddlers it happens. We are also using it has an extra DVD player in the house - it easily hooks up to the television set. Cons: Most DVDs do not seem to start up where the movie left off. It does not come with a battery pack for use on airplanes, etc. It does not come with a case to hang off back seat.
