You Get What You Pay For

by   mtrenck ,  Aug 23, 2008
Pros: Quick shutter speed, easy to use, takes outstanding pictures.
Cons: A little pricey. Easy to get overwhelmed with optional features.
The Bottom Line: Packed with many options, the best option I've found is the "Just take a Great Picture Option." Simple to use, great battery life, and professional quality pictures!
Review: They always say that you get what you pay for.... purchase the cheapest camera available and you'll take cheapest looking pictures. Spend a bit more, and you'll get a bit more. The Sony DSC-W55, one of the Sony cameras in the Cyber-shot series is ...

Great point and shoot tool to capture your loving memories

by   hiteshparakh ,  Aug 19, 2008
Pros: Lightweight Sturdy and good looking Lot of features Ease of use
Cons: I cant think of any
The Bottom Line: Go for this.
Review: I bought a Sony Cyber Shot W55 for a year now and i really love it. I had many problems with my Cannons, switched to Sony and couldn't be happier. It is stylish in its metal ultra-compact body, and features 7.2MP resolution on a 1/2.5-in. image sensor, ...

Is it a camera? Is it a phone?

by   vipuser ,  Feb 5, 2005
Pros: 1.3 mega pixel, FM radio, mp3 player, GREAT reception, sturdy exterior, swivel design
Cons: No firmware updates YET!!! Exterior are not interchangeable, 128mb max for external storage
The Bottom Line: BEWARE!! Use this phone at YOUR OWN RISK because it has been reported that the S700 relieves boredom and take awesome pictures!!!!
Review: The S700i is a special phone in itself. People always ponder whether this phone is a digital camera or a cell phone. There is a different between “a phone w/ a camera” and “a phone and a camera” and the S700i is a prime example of this. ...

The best system I have ever tried

by   nubian01 ,  Dec 15, 2007
Pros: Receive and transmit quality, battery life, wind resistance, syncing, comfort, and quality
Cons: Price, but get over it unless you want a junk one for $30.
The Bottom Line: Great buy!!
Review: I love having the little thing in my ear. Jabra has hit a homerun with this one. I was skeptical when I bought it thinking I would be returning it after a few hours of use. First, I did not buy off on the 3rd generation ear securing device that it cam ...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera, A Review by A Camera Techno Peasant

by   the_gas_man ,  Oct 13, 2007
Pros: I've figured out how to operate it and if "I" can, anyone can.
Cons: A week later and I'm still reading about features packed into it and learning
The Bottom Line: I recommend this digital camera for the novice just getting into them. A relatively low cost product, easy to use and packed with digital features, for experimental shots.
Review: What, you may well ask, is "The Gasman" doing in "Electronics", attempting to review a Sony digital camera. I won't even try to pretend that I'm an expert on this product. I received it as a birthday gift and I've been experimenting with it for a week. ...

Small and comfortable.

by   dnhoshor ,  May 22, 2008
Pros: Small, light, comfortable, good battery life.
Cons: Small buttons.
The Bottom Line: A good general purpose Bluetooth headset. Comfortable, and easy to fit in the ear.
Review: I got the Jabra BT8040 Bluetooth headphone to use with my Palm Treo cell phone. It was easy to pair up with the phone and sounds good. No one I've spoken to using the headphone has complained of it sounding bad. I especially like the ear gels Jabra ...

by   nickscarano ,  Aug 31, 2008
Pros: Good price, good sturdy camera
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: A good camera for beginners
Review: I upgraded my digital realm with this very kind 7.2 megapixel DSC-W55. It has a 3x optical zoom with Carl Zeiss lens, The Carl's do make a big difference. The usual 2.5" LCD display, optical viewfinder i never use, and i always like sony's programmed ...

EXCELLENT PHONE

by   ritdhola ,  Feb 11, 2005
Pros: One of the best 1.3 Mega Pixel phones out there, Large screen. Excellent Pictures
Cons: Little to big, Bit On the bulky side, Over Priced, (but not to much)
Review: I have had this S700i phone for just about over 2 months. it has an excellent zoom, and an even better picture quality even when taking pictures at its maximum zoom. most of all I think that the internet is one of its best features, but with every phone ...

A Reliable General Purpose Utility Camera.

by   aashok , top reviewer in Electronics at Epinions.com ,  Mar 19, 2007
Pros: Tons of features yet easy to use for my wife, sharp LCD, sharper pictures.
Cons: Plain boxy design, lack of Sony STYLE, no zoom while recording video.
The Bottom Line: A reliable all-purpose camera with lots of features. Very easy to quickly take sharp bright photos. Excellent low light performance. Uninspired design.
Review: WHY DID I BUY IT? A few weeks back, I was walking up Madison avenue and 56th street when I got the typical ‘sky-is-falling’ frantic call from my wife. “I need to list a property and I can’t find my camera. I need one so please ...

Good Headphones for the Money

by   wallyanti ,  Jan 21, 2008
Pros: Good sound for the money; Intuitive navigation/volume buttons;
Cons: Poor bass; Uncomfortable; Poor noise cancellation; Not a great headset for calls; Dorky design
The Bottom Line: These would be great for casual music listeners who dislike cables and do not make lengthy voice calls.
Review: I used these headphones for a week before deciding on another pair. Overall I liked these headphones but the sound quality was not quite up to par with what I was looking for. Voice Call Problems I ride my bike often and was hoping to use ...
