Have Tunes, Will Travel: The Sony D-NE510

The Bottom Line: A good standard CD player with the ability to play Mp3s or files compressed with Sony's ATRAC software. Somewhat pricey, however. ATRAC CDs will only play on the Sony.

The Bottom Line: It has issues and limitations-- some of them being serious for the money. But it may hold us over until somebody finally makes an MP3/Ogg player worth a darn.
