Pros: Sleek, durable, great lens, solid auto mode with face detection and anti-blur
Cons: Lots of red eye, slightly confusing menus, high ISO shots are grainier than expected
The Bottom Line: This is a very flexible and affordable digital camera that creates gorgeous, detailed prints.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I'm an amateur photographer who has been struggling with camera envy for quite some time now. I'm someone who would rather create my own images for design projects as opposed to buying stock photography, and I'm also someone who is obsessed with...

Pros:
Great, clear pictures, easy to use, light-weight, fashionable look Cons: Expensive memory stick, no hard-copy manual
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend for its quality photos, ease of use, attractiveness, and Sony standard - this company stands behind its products.

Review: I knew nothing about digital cameras and so I did extensive research when it became apparent that I needed one. All of my research (on-line, in camera shops) kept bringing me back to this camera.
I am a mystery shopper (yes we do exist) and... |

Pros: The photos are vividly colorful, so not only are your subjects smiling, so are you.
Cons: I have not found one yet.
The Bottom Line: I needed a camera that I can depend on, and that takes good photographs, and I found ti in the cyber-shot.

Review: Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, especially when Santa brings you what you want. Sometimes its a hit or miss with generalization when you say "I need a new camera." I said that last year and got a new camera that took ordinary pictures...

Pros: Very good pictures, fast autofocus, good screen
Cons: Bulky, Memory Stick media
The Bottom Line: This is a good compact (not pocket-size) digital camera that takes very good pictures for it's class and is easy to use while offering a reasonable amount of control

Review: An introduction
I am an amateur photographer who loves my Canon EOS Rebel XT. Still, early last year I decided that a small portable digicam (I now own two) was worth the money. I first bought a Samsung that was DOA, so I returned... |

Review: I'm pleased overall with my purchase of this little camera. I'm not a pro by any means; I bought it to take pictures at family get togethers, on trips, etc., and I haven't been disappointed by the camera's performance. I got it on sale at Circuit...

Pros: Very easy to use, clear, crisp pictures.
Cons: Proprietary battery, expensive memory stick.
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a compact camera, loaded with features at a great price, buy the Sony DSC W80. Easy even for lefties!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The Sony DSC-W80 is our first digital camera, bought after a lot of research. We had narrowed the field, but when I tried the other cameras, they were difficult to use. We wanted some basic features, macro, fairly fast power up and shot-to-shot...

Pros: Low-light sharp pictures; small thin camera
Cons: No paper manual (on disc)
The Bottom Line: Inexpensive, compact, good low-light shots.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Bought it for graduation pictures because someone borrowed my older Sony DSC-W1. It has pleased me with many sharp pictures, in lower light, when the old one would have blur. Mostly I'm not using a flash, even indoors, which avoids the 'red eye'...

Review: I was walking through Best Buy when I noticed a special offer on the Sony Cybershot DSC-W80. $179 instead of $279. Now THAT'S a low price, I thought. Especially when you notice the big advertised features: 7.2 Megapixels and a Carl Zeiss lens. I am...
