Overall I think it's a good deal, nice camera.

Bought this back in May 2007 for $339. The LCD touch screen is nice and one of the first things people comment on when they see the camera. It's almost the entire size of the back of the camera so not really possible to make it any bigger. I can see where you have to be careful with caring for the screen which my wife & I have been careful trying to do. I keep it clean as possible, always in it's case unless using it, and use the little stylus provided to tap the screen instead of our fingers. I really like the InfoLithium batteries because they give you the remaining battery strength in minutes on the screen instead of a series of bars or meters. I will also tell you that I bought an extra battery (53.99 at the same time as camera) and it is well worth it, it has saved me several times to have a backup ready to go. I also bought a 2MB Sony duo pro memory stick for 53.99 at the same time as camera. Provided you dump your pics onto the computer regularly, this should be more than enough space to take plenty of pics. The only criticism I can think of right now is that sometimes pics will come out a little grainy or blurry when using it in fulll zoom. There are probably better cameras with better zooms if you will be using this a lot, but other than that, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.
