The Bottom Line: If you need a pair of reasonably priced, streamlined, lightweight, comfortable headphones that still sound great to use during exercise...these'll work!!
I have 3 sets of these for use with my mp3 player. I bought the other two thinking I would break them during all the abuse I subject them to but two years later I'm still using the original set. The lightweight, over-ear design is secure, comfortable, unobtrusive and easily hung from a shirt-collar or pocket when you want them out of your ears. As another reviewer observed you need to find the "sweet spot" for optimal sound quality but once you do, these headphones stay put and they sound really good! As a studio musician I'm pretty critical of how headphones deliver the goods and can honestly say these have become my favorites for use outside the studio. To my ears their tonal quality is well balanced (if the music is well-mixed, of course) with plenty of well-defined bass and high-frequency. They let in enough ambient sound so as not to put you in danger while outdoors where there's a need to hear traffic, etc...
I've purchased these new for as little as $6 (shipping included) on ebay. I never know when something good will be discontinued and have found them very satisfactory so I'm glad I have the extra sets (and I couldn't resist the price :-)
