Works Fine - Good Sound - They Stay On While Active

Date of Review:  Aug 17, 2008
The Bottom Line: Good compromise headphones for working out and other activities.
Review: I've been looking for the ultimate set of headphones while working out for decades. Exercising is boring, so I started with a Walkman (listening to taped audio books) and evolved over the years to my current iPod (listening primarily to Podcasts -...

Sony MDR-J20 is a unique, problematic headphone

Date of Review:  Nov 15, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would not buy these headphones. They look a little silly, the sound quality is easily compromised and the pros do not outweigh the cons.
Review: I run a little. Jog is a more fitting term for what I do. I'm not one of those authentic joggers either... I run on a treadmill at the gym. I've got an Ipod Mini and I like to make 25 minute track lists while i'm warming up and then do my thing...

Good sound, disappointing performance.

Date of Review:  May 16, 2008
The Bottom Line: Not very useful if being used while engaging in physical activity, but a good value if used while largely stationary.
Review: I bought these hoping that they would be useful for my ipod while biking and walking. I have found that the regular ear buds that come with the ipod are all but useless to me, so I was looking for something that clips over the ear. I have a hard...

Active folks: these stay on you!

Date of Review:  Jun 8, 2007
The Bottom Line: If you need a pair of reasonably priced, streamlined, lightweight, comfortable headphones that still sound great to use during exercise...these'll work!!
Review: I have 3 sets of these for use with my mp3 player. I bought the other two thinking I would break them during all the abuse I subject them to but two years later I'm still using the original set. The lightweight, over-ear design is secure,...
