Sony CFDZW755 boombox

While the price is reasonable, this boombox is not even worth $100. The case is made of silver colored plastic so it feels and looks much cheaper. There is no boom in this box. The output is very weak and if you crank up the volume the tone becomes hollow and tinny with very little bass.

Right out of the box, the left cassette door would not open properly. There are presets available to set favorite radio stations, however the radio didn't seem to pull in stations very strongly.

This item was returned to the store and replaced by a Sony CMT-EP303, which is a micro shelf system. Unless you have a need to carry the machine from room to room, this has much better sound. While the volume is not overwhelming, the fullness of the sound is much more impressive than from the boombox.
