THE BEST BOOMBOX I EVER OWNED

If you are looking for a seriously capable and powerful boombox, then you can end your search now. This system is the Loudest and the most versatile I have seen yet. It can play CD-R, CD-RW, CD mp3 and even directly connect to an mp3 player and such. It has very powerful biamplifier and bass that has to be heard to be believed. Putting it straight; it has caused our neighbors to beat on our walls at a volume of only 4.75 and we live in a townhome with thick walls!! Sony created a monster though, and space consideration is important. This system weighs about 21lbs as well so while it is portable, you will get a workout with repeated traveling to places with it. It has an awesome red light circling the super woofer in the center and it looks very aggressive. Not like a plastic tube like a certain boombox we all have seen out there...cough...JVC Kaboom....cough-sorry. There is no backlight and that would not be a problem except that it is hard to read in dim light and the glow from the red ring just makes your eyes hurt. Still, if you put your hand over the light you can read it fine. It scrolls the name of the song, artist, albumn and folder across the LCD at the touch of a button as well. Nice.

If you want to share the music, then the speakers of this BOOMBOX is ready to put it out there. Just a wordf of warning-do not underestimate how much bass it pumps out and the possible annoyance of picky neighbors. LOL. Hopefully you make the same choice I did and buy this thing-you will never be disappointed.
