Pretty good but not perfect

The Bottom Line: Still a top choice, but be aware of picture display limitations
Review: Well, we finally bit the bullet and upgraded to flat panel from our old Mitsubishi 32" TV with the bulbous tube and a big pink spot in the upper corner. The Sony 40" fit in our cabinet with a half inch on either side to spare.

The Bottom Line: Sony quality in a HDTV LCD 1080p TV. Supports 1080p both with HDMI(DVI) and RGB.

It is better than the others - it's just that simple

The Bottom Line: I have already recommended this 40" LCD 1080p HDTV to everyone I know that doesn't have a wide-screen HDTV yet. It's about $200 more than the others, but worth it.
Review: I went to a number of different stores and actually looked at the TVs. The 1080p Sony Bravia KDL40V2500 appeared to have the same great image as their 40" XBR2 model, but at a significant savings ($400-$500 difference). Both of those Sony LCD HDTVs...

A Few Minor Complaints (In Order)

Review: 1: Standard video sources look as bad or worse than an old big-screen. (Even with S-video and HD composite cables)
2: Switching through video channels can be painfully slow. (In fact the entire channel switching process is disappointing)
