not bad for price unless you want audiophile sound

Good price, $45. Fit is comfortable, fully enclosed over the ear. Best range indoors seems to be about 30 feet, after that, sometimes fades out, or sound drops off for a moment then returns. I guess this is the squelch cutting in and out. I use them with pc audio for listening to mp3's. I do notice if I go outside onto the screened porch that I need to be careful how my head is oriented, as the wrong position loses the sound or I get lots of static. Has 3 transmitter channels to select from, so if you have trouble with static, try another channel. I found no difference in using that feature. Sound quality is just so-so. I have a very cheap (like $5 or so) plug-in type that fit flat against the ear that sounds far superior. These have almost no bass response, so if you really need superb audio, these aren't for you. I did have a cheap set of wireless headphones from Walmart (about $20) that were far worse...lost audio even when sitting next to pc with those.

Has rechargable battery feature where you simply place the headset into the transmitter cradle and an LED shows it recharging, but you do need to place them carefully so the LED lights up showing proper charging. I specifically wanted a set that had a volume control, and that simple feature is hard to find.

Quality of finish is very good, and unless you are willing to spend considerably more, I would recommend them. The earpads are replaceable should they wear out, which I like as I have a Radioshack FM radio headset that stills work fine, but the rubber has deteriorated as you get little pieces of black rubber on your ears when wearing them, and replacements are not available.
