Makes a big difference quickly

I recently turned 30, I have never had any cavities, though I have often had problems with my gums (gingivitis, etc.) Since i have been using the Sonicare toothbrushes, my gum problems have disappeared. My dentist had told me in the past, the people typically will have either very healthy teeth, or very healthy gums, but seldom both. I am happy to say that I now have both. I must also mention, that i have worked in the service industry for many years, and did not have health or dental insurance at my of my jobs, so my oral care was in my own hands for years at a time. I am happy to say i am now self employed and insured, and my dentist was quite surprised at the condition of my teeth and gums, particularly when i had told him this was my first visit to a dentist in several years (I am not suggesting anyone go to the dentist less, I just want to make the point that proper home dental hygiene can work very well). I did use other cheaper electric tooth brush model's before I had the Sonicare unit, and the results are not even comparable. The Sonicare is much gentler, and more effective. I had read they are based on the sonic technology used in dental offices, and I had two old roomates that worked in the dental supply business, they had told me that just about everyone they knew that worked in their field, suppliers and dentists alike, all used the Sonicare's, and felt they were extremely beneficial. I have an older and newer model, and the new model is quiet and has worked great for about a year. They have come down in price over the years.
