Improves oral health by leaps and bounds!

I bought the Sonicare Elite on my friends suggestion after I had six terrible cavities in one summer. Not wanting to ever have to endure another minute of drilling and filling, I took my friends advice and purchased it. It is truly one of the best purchases of my life, for my life. I have not had any cavities since and my dental hygienist always complements me that my teeth look great. Check-ups are easier and faster now since there's less plaque to remove. The first few times you use it, the vibration is a bit jarring and maybe even uncomfortable for some people. I mentioned this to my hygienist and she said that it can even be very uncomfortable for people with periodontal disease or cases of dental neglect. However, she said it truly is one situation where "no pain, no gain" applies. She said to work through the discomfort and your teeth and gums will get healthier. This brush does most of the work for you. All you have to do is move it around your teeth and gums in small circles. It has a timer so you know when to switch to another section of your mouth and it shuts itself off after the recommended two minutes. I brush my teeth two or three times a day and I probably charge it up about once a week. I recently got braces and it is a life saver. It vibrates into all the little spaces and removes all bits of food and wax. A few weeks ago I had to use a traditional toothbrush on a vacation because I had forgotten my Sonicare. My mouth felt unclean and I'm quite sure I didn't brush for two minutes because it felt like such a chore. It was obvious that in no way can a traditional toothbrush stand up to a Sonicare in terms of reaching hard to reach places and giving a really good cleaning without much effort of your part. You really do get that squeaky clean, just left the dentist office feeling. The replacement heads come with little dated stickers so you know when six months have passed and you need to replace the head. It also has a clear plastic cap for traveling or keeping it clean when it's in its holder in your bathroom.
