Well before starting my review, I must tell you that I am been playing this game since weeks and I have tried my best to mention each and every thing.

This game is one of the oldest games of dragon ball series , a Japanese anime show popular worldwide. Although it is one of the oldest of the dragon ball game series but I must tell you that it is the best of all among all the dragon ball games released till now. All the other games of the dragon ball series are incomparable to this game because this game is totally different with respect to the modes of playing, graphics, characters etc.I have played many GBA games but I never experienced such great graphics and gameplay modes.THE game-maker companies had never made good games on dragon ball for GBA while they had always made good games with a wide range of game modes,selectable characters and good graphics for Playstation2,Ps1, xbox and PSP only.So we can say that it is the first comprehensive game on dragon ball for gba.All the other games on dragon ball are made so that only dragon ball's fans may understand it, play it and enjoy it. But this game features such an interesting gameplay that anyone can play it.The most interesting thing is that it also has a training option where you will automatically learn the fighting technices. In short I would like to say that it is a must having game for all dragon ball fans and also for those people who really don't want to waste their money and time on other bad games.

THE BEST THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME

1.For the first time ever on GBA, a wide range of selectable characters in all their forms {total 15}.
2.You can upgrade fighting skills as you advance.
3.A wide range of long-term and close combat attacks including many special attacks as shown in the cartoon.
4.Character switching function during battles just like tekken tag.
5.Unlike other GBA games, the character is shown on the whole with proper details and animation.

Like all the other DBZ's GBa games, when you start te game you will have two basic things LIFE and ENERGY. The energy willkep ou alive as long it is remaining and the energy will enable you to perform special attacks and attacks other than the ordinary punches and kicks.After the energy is utilized you can exceed it again by pressing D button. All the characters have different special attacks (except kaaa-mee-haa-mee-haa wave, a type of laser beam which is common in many characters.In certain game modes after winning, you earn points which you will use to unlock characters and even unlock the next levels of the same character. All the characters have a maximum level of 3.By obtaining the next level, the character becomes more powerful and in some cases the appearance of the character also modifies while remains same in some of them.

1 STORY MODE
This mode allows you to play 8 battles in a row just like the story shown in the cartoon.You will either end the story or the story will finish with "What if......".

2 Z battle mode
You will have two options in this mode which would be "1 on 1 battle" and "Team battle". After choosing your character you will fight 8 opponents and after you have defeated all of them you will be rewarded points for unlocking characters.

3 Challenge mode
Probably the best way to get Points to unlock characters, this mode puts you against teams of certain characters one at a time. As you defeat each team, new teams are unlocked and the harder the team, the more Points you get.It is probably the best mode for playing.

4 Free battle mode
This made has no limitations and you can play as much as you can.

5 Remote vs mode
In this mode two persons will have to connect their GBA with each other via link cable and then they can battle each other.

6 Option mode
This mode lets you change the game's difficulty,view rankings of various scores you've gotten in different modes in the game and unlock characters via your points which you have earned in certain game modes.

7 Training mode
This mode lets you learn different combos and special attacks, so you can learn the game in a few minutes.
