Not the best, but still awesome!

Review: I had this mp3 player as a gift from the summer of 2000. The player has 32mb of onboard memory, and that doesn't seem much, can only hold about 8 songs at 192kbs, or about 12 at 128kbs. Anyhow, still a great player.

Good value player

Review: I've had my Rio 300 since Aug 99, it's the plain black not the cool aqua model. That should give you some idea of it's durability. I've dropped it several times onto carpeted floors and it still works.

The Bottom Line: I recommend the Rio 300 because it's convenient. No skipping, no CD burning required. An easy to use interface makes it ideal for the average computer user.

Rocking Rio

Review: I purchased my Diamond Rio through Mercata and it had a $50.00 rebate so I ended up paying only $49.95 for it. It is a great bargain, and once my son learned how to download the music online, he doesn't have to worry about someone stealing his CDs...
