Terrible product(s), terrible company

Didn't cool even 1 room adequately.
Broke after 1 year, displaying an E4 error message. Which means it was leaking refrigerant.
It took weeks to actually get anybody to respond and then I got a lot of excuses about how the customer service person was getting 150 calls per day.
The company won't stand behind it and replace it, falling back on "Sorry, it's been over 1 year and our warranty is only for 1 year".
They said they would fix it, only if I paid for shipping both ways and for labor and parts...total cost nearly the $600 I spent for the unit itself.
It Doesn't matter that it was 1 year and 2 months since the purchase date.
Look at the better business bureau web site for this company...very bad...

Don't buy this or ANY Soleus Air or Soleus International products...you'll be in for a world of disastisfaction.
Further, a "feature" of the unit is it's ability to restart after a power failure. However, they put a Ground Fault Interuption device on the unit that when the power resumes, trips and turns of the power to the unit. I don't think they ever tested this feature.
