The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this unit to anyone that has a need. I am very happy. Reliability will be determined in a few years but so far its great.

The Bottom Line: If one needs portable 13000 btu a/c quickly, or because of other restraints, this unit is a good choice. Make an honest evaluation of need vs. features; avoid wishful thinking.
Review: I noted the generally poor reviews for portable a/c's here, including the Soleus. Me thinks that they are to some degree due to unrealistic expectations ad incomplete evaluation before purchase.

Nice Unit, However.......

The Bottom Line: Use a bucket, it produces water. I knew that and still bought it.
