Great for babies to see the world
Pros:
Adjustable, many configurations, great for baby to see "out"
Cons:
Can be difficult to reach all the straps.
The Bottom Line:
This is a great, compact alternative to a stroller, especially when a stroller is not practical. Great for guys.

Author's Review
This is the only carrier my husband would wear. I lived by my sling, but it was too feminine for him. My sons both loved facing outward because they loved to see the world coming at them. Compared to a stroller, great for short-distance hiking (a couple miles), walking on gravel or dirt paths or for outings in crowds.
I never wore the Snugli with my first son, but I learned better with my second son -- I actually started using the Snugli some (don't tell my husband) because my son loved to look out and not get hidden in by the sling. He ended up being a better behaved baby because he was entertained by what was going on around him.
The Snugli is easier as a 2-person operation. One to hold the baby, the other to fix the Snugli up around him, buckle, guide baby's legs, etc. That is, for both "mounting" and "dismounting" the baby. It can be done by one person alone (I've done it), but it's easier with two.
I still cling to my sling, though, when I want to make sure I have an easy way to nurse in public (at the park, in my car, etc.). The Snugli provides no coverage for that, so you just have to make sure to bring a blanket for that purpose.
It takes some practice to use the Snugli. It's somewhat adjustable so it should fit a number of body types with some simple adjustment of the straps -- similar to adjusting a backpack. It also requires a little back flexibility to reach all the straps and make sure the right strap is going in the right place.
