Not for the Light Sleepers

Although some people claim that this humidifier is quiet, I had to return it to the store because the gurgling noise bothered me too much at night.

Pros:
- Relatively easy to drain out water from the tanks
- I love the fact that it's almost germ-free

Cons:
- If I set the humidity setting higher than "9 O' Clock" position on the dial, I hear the sound of water boiling or gurgling all night long. If I set it low enough to prevent the gurgling noise, I don't get enough humidity in the room. It appears that the water level doesn't even drop on the low setting.

- I don't feel comfortable putting this in my 15-month-old baby's room because the base becomes considerably hot and the mist is hotter than I would consider safe for a curious toddler.
