Just had to chime in here, even though you wrote that comment a long time ago there are people poking around for reviews on these (like myself, as I just got a free pair from mycokerewards.com).

And the reason the cord is like that is because you are supposed to wrap the right side of the cord around the back of your head and insert the left side earbud in normally.

I've owned a pair of earbuds like this before so I know the drill. On another note, I'm actually disappointed that this is the case, because I didn't really like that design decision, and prefer having both cords the same length.

Oh well... I got em for free (well, not technically free since I had to trade my coke points for em).
