WHAT ARE THE BEST TWO FEATURES FOR ME:
1) For me the BEST thing about the Skip Hop Duo Diaper Bag is that it doesn't look like I have a hug box hanging from my shoulder! The bag is deep and looks/hangs more like a purse than your typical boxy diaper bag. Every other diaper bag I found felt like I was hauling a laptop with me (especially when the bag was full stocked).

2) I was looking for a bag that not only didn't look like a box, but could also be used as a purse/diaper bag combination. The zip top pockets, the pouch with pen holsters and the phone pouch on the side, made this a perfect purse/diaper bag. You don't have to dig through diapers to get to your "purse items". The adjustable shoulder strap lets you carry it with a short strap like a tote or a longer strap like a messenger bag.

WHAT ELSE I LOVE ABOUT THE SKIP HOP:
-Large easy access outside front pouches (can hold sippy cups, snacks, toys, keys)
-The larger zip pocket easily holds my formula Munchkin for easy access.
-Great for Moms or Dads
-The stroller to shoulder straps
-I am a chronic overpacker, it holds everything
-Outside long pocket that holds my "quick access" diaper changing needs (diapers, changing pad, wipes)-no digging through the bag for these when changing the baby

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ON STRAPPING SYSTEM:
All the reviews above pay tribute to the unique strapping system that lets this bag easily go from shoulder to stroller. Why is this better than just hanging a regular diaper bag over the stroller? Because the stroller straps lock on and put the bag at a higher level (just below the stroller handles)for easy access. You don't have to lift up the bag to access it. I keep my wallet, makeup pouch, and other "purse" items in the smaller zip pocket for quick access when shopping.

The adjustable shoulder strap also lets you carry the bag like a long shoulder bag or shorten the straps to make it more of a tote.

WHY I STARTED LOOKING FOR A NEW DIAPER BAG:
I had a great backpack diaper bag that I loved until I started to go out more. I liked it for the same reason I was first drawn to the Skip Hop, it didn't look like I was carrying a huge bag or laptop with me. The backpack concept is a great idea, but you can't access it without taking it off if it is on your back (especially if a baby is in one arm). Thus it didn't work well as a purse for me. It also did not hang well from the stroller handle and filled up even the basket on my large stroller. I started to wear it just slung over my shoulder, but it kept sliding off my shoulder (and into my baby) every time I bent over to pick him up. The Skip Hop solved all of these issues.
