One of the best shows ever. Really!

Words can hardly express my excitement regarding this show. I simply loved every second of it! The intrigue is rich, the characters - well-drawn and constantly improving, filled with sarcasm. Also, the direction, writing and acting are absolutely impeccable. From the moment I heard the show was created by Alan Ball (the father of American Beauty) I knew I had to watch it - this man couldn't go wrong. It's not just a story about undertakers, it's simply surreal art.
The movie shows the life of a family that owns a mortuary house. After the father passed away, the business is left to the two Fisher Brothers, Nate and David. Day by day, death enters their house, grieving, sadness is the feeling to be sketched whenever you have to organize such a ceremony. You probably went to a funeral and you know the feeling - imagine doing this every day and still trying to get on with your life. This is when you can't get away from all the sadness and grieving because it governs your life.
One can relate to each of the characters. Each has certain mental issues that he or she tends to express sooner or later in the show.
Here's a quote that perfectly shows one of the themes of the show : "You work with death on a daily basis when death is what you're most afraid of."
The final episode of this series was one of the most heart-wrenching things I have ever experienced from a tv show.

It's breath-taking, it's mind-boggling, it's simply Six Feet Under. I can go on and on about how brilliant this show is, but words will simply downgrade it. You have to watch it, you'll do yourself a favour!
