I love this serger! I bought it to use for school and personal projects. It works great! You have to adjust to the threading and needle positions at the beginning, but it's easy to get used to. Once you get the flow of how to thread it and where to place the needles, it's a breeze.
It has all of the features that you need in an overlock/serger machine and more... It does 2 & 3 thread overlock, chain stitch, 2 & 3 thread chain stitch, rolled hem, decorative edge stitch, and much more. It worked great on every fabric that I tried it on. It's almost error proof, I messed up a couple times, but the thread never broke, nor did the machine start to malfunction.
You also have the option of engaging or disengaging the knife which is a feature that lacks a lot of overlock machines.
Even better, it comes with all of the 6 compatible feet so you don't have to go out and buy anything else for it.
It is a good size, won't get in the way or take up too much table space.
The only down fall was the instruction manual that it came with, it wasn't very proficient. However, you can download a more detailed manual online, which clears everything up.
