SINGER MODEL 7462

I purchased this sewing machine because I previously owned a Singer for 15 years with no problems. These machine had a lot of features and a great price.

But if you need a repair forget it--No One will touch this
machine. Repairs even a simple one cost $150.00. The repair people told me not to waste my time or $$ fixing this machine. Was told over and over again by all the sewing places I went to--DO NOT BUY A SINGER machine. They are not made well and they will not even repair them.

Under the warranty they "GIVE" you, you are required to pay the labor costs. Most places charge you $50-$75.00 per hour. And
99.9 % of the time, the problem is NOT covered by the warranty. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE--IT WILL ONLY CAUSE YOU PROBLEMS, I ONLY WISH SOMEONE HAD REVIEWED THIS BEFORE I BOUGHT ONE. NOT EVEN ONE YEAR OLD AND IT IS IN THE DUMPSTER !
