Author's Review

After much searching and stressing about a crib, we selected this one. We purchased the crib from BrU.

We have been using this crib for two months. So far we have not had any problems with it. One of the reasons we purchased this crib instead of another was it does not have a side that comes down. All the sides are screwed in and are not moving! Right now it's easy to put our child to sleep because it is at the highest point. I'm sure once we have to move the bottom frame down it will be a longer reach, but I think it is worth it to have the sides secure.

The wood and finish are nice. There are a few dents from when we were putting it together but that doesn't bother us. The back and front pieces curve out slightly so it is not directly up against the wall, you lose about 2-3 inches. It doesn't sound like a lot but in a small room every inch counts.

It was easy to put together and the instructions were well written with illustrations. The only problem we had putting it together was connecting the bottom frame to the crib frame, but after two tries we got it right.

I also found the mobile we purchased for the crib did not fit on the side. The top bar is too long. I have heard this complaint from other reviews. We decided to skip the mobile and go with music box that attaches to the crib instead.

If you want to turn it into a regular bed you will have to purchase the side rails for the frame alike all other cross over cribs.
