Pros: Cheapest camcorder mic out there, AAA-battery powered, improves sound pickup.
Cons: Cheapest camcorder mic out there, flimsy construction, lack of power light.
The Bottom Line: Worth it if you have bad built-in mics because no other choices exist at this price range.

Pros: Fits on a standard accessory shoe found on most camcorders.
Cons: Poor construction. Poor quality. Doesn't work.
The Bottom Line: Do not even bother with the Sima MZM-1. Its poor quality and questionable operation are not worth the price.
