To be honest with you I couldn't even finish this book. I quit reading it half-way through! Not that it was horribly written or the subject wasn't interesting, just felt it wasn't anything new. This is probably a minority opinion as the book came highly recommended to me, and the recommender was surprised when I said I didn't finish it.

If you have worked in the industry or even followed it much you will know the stories and the companies already.
It just never caught me up and I found very little new insight. If you have time to spare and really want to examine and compare how different companies/executives are succeeding then you should go ahead and give it a read.

I can't help but think in a couple years the companies in the book will need to be revised - much like reading Guerilla Marketing or any of Tom Peters books where many of the companies are held up as standouts only to be gone from the scene or vastly changed a few short years later. That doesn't mean that it's not valuable to read about how they are doing business now, but I just couldn't help but think of it as company after company and executive after executive were held up as the way to do business.
