An impressive, deep, nightmare-esque [flawed] masterpiece!

The Bottom Line: The greatest psychological horror game of all time! The action is secondary to the story, music, character design, and atmospheric environments, which more than make up for the decent controls.

The Bottom Line: Don't let youngins anywhere near the vicinity of this game. Your face will be permanently pail.
Review: If you though that the Resident Evil series was scary (wuss), then do yourself a favor and avoid Silent Hill 2. However, if you had no aversion to any previous survival/horror titles, then this game will likely get you one.
