The Bottom Line: I would not recommend Silent Hill 2 to anyone who really loved the original; it is a disappointment. It has lost those qualities which made Silent Hill truly great.

Defines the Horror Genre in Video Games

The Bottom Line: Silent Hill 2 is by far the most gorgeous presentation of horror to date. Resident Evil couldn't hold a candle to the sheer terror this game filled me with.
