This is a Notebook Mouse ... The VX Revolution is a Revolution for Notebook Mice

by   yusakugo , top reviewer in Electronics at Epinions.com ,  Aug 25, 2006
Pros: Excellent tracking, excellent ergonomics, can replace desktop mouse!
Cons: Really expensive... as in gaming mouse price expensive ($80)
The Bottom Line: If not for the price, the VX revolution destroys any other notebook mice on the market. It's good enough for desktop use!
Review: I just bought the V400 mouse which should cost me about $8 after the Staples mail-in rebate. Here comes my friend Jeff who had the V400 mouse for months before me with his Acer laptop. Jeff - "I have something to show you... a new toy that you don't ...

Best Small Video Device!

by   RichBoston ,  Mar 26, 2007
Pros: Incredible picture. Stores 25 movies, 300,000 pictures or 7,500 songs. Beautifully made, awesome device!
Cons: Battery life could be short. A number of options could set you back some $$$.
The Bottom Line: Best as a device for videos for which it is outstanding! Excellent for music as well but not as intuitive to use as an ipod. Rating considers its video capabilities.
Review: I bought this a month ago from Office Depot on sale for $200. I was skeptical and was prepared to return it but I was so thrilled that I also bought the Archos 604! The 404 small and fairly light but with a hard to quantify feel of something very high ...

Anti-shake system *really* works, great optics, great ergonomics

by   jzorns ,  Jan 27, 2007
Pros: Anti-shake REALLY works, ergonomic grip, great kit lens, AA battery.
Cons: NiMH rechargeable batteries don't have the shelf life of lithium ion batteries of the competition.
The Bottom Line: Think outside the box. Anti-shake technology helps EVERYONE and really works. Great optics, comfortable grip, innovative features.
Review: As a bit of an introduction, I have been an avid amateur photographer for 12 years now. I started with a Pentax K1000, which is a manual focus, manual exposure 35mm SLR. I've moved up from there to some very nice Nikon, Olympus, and Canon SLRs, dabbled ...

Great Value for the Money

by   jghouse ,  Jun 4, 2007
Pros: Very sharp images; smooth/firm zoom control
Cons: Lack of tripod mount on lens (minor issue).
The Bottom Line: I recommend this lens based on its sharpness and relatively low cost.
Review: I previously owned a Sigma 70-300mm (w/macro) from around 2001 and was disappointed by the sharpness especially at the long end of the zoom. I am a "enthusiast" level user and shoot normal everyday subjects (birds in my back yard, kids' sporting events, ...

Archos rules ipod video drools

by   pdboilermaker ,  Oct 1, 2007
Pros: Does it all, movies, music, pictures and does it well
Cons: Has its own plug rather than standard USB
The Bottom Line: Buy this thing all day long. Easy to use and the ahhh factor by Ipod people is great. Buy a media player, not a player of the media
Review: My wife was looking for an MP3 player and had considered an IPOD video like our sons have, she asked me to help her select so I did. First late me start that I am not a bandwagon jumper and feel the the IPOD and Itunes are overated, over priced, over ...

Awesome Motherboard

by   puffnstuff ,  May 21, 2007
Pros: Quality build, good feature packed layout, 3 year warranty
Cons: Only has 4 sata ports, lack of digital code display for errors.
The Bottom Line: The price has dropped since I bought mine but I would recommend it. This mb has been very stable for me.
Review: I highly recommend this mb is you're looking for a socket 775 with nvidia 650i chipset. It has a good bios layout with many features including the heatpipe over the nb, sb and mosfets. The socket is relatively clear allowing you to mount a large hsf. ...

Quite the Awesome Notebook Mouse

by   thestoiceagle ,  Apr 21, 2007
Pros: Very comfortable, slick design, a dizzying array of fully customizable buttons
Cons: Exorbitant cost, SetPoint software doesn't always recognize mouse
The Bottom Line: Though expensive, this mouse is very advanced and well worth the cost. This mouse is particularly well-geared for photoshop addicts, hardcore web surfers, and even laptop gamers. An inspired choice.
Review: Prior to buying the VX Revolution, I used a Logitech Marble Mouse with my Dell notebook, which worked extremely well, but was rather unportable. If I were to bring the trackball with me to the coffeeshop, for example, the ball would at best be lost in my ...

Excellent laptop mouse, or even for use on desktop or HTPC

by   spacefuzz ,  Jan 30, 2007
Pros: Well designed, ergonomic, precision pointing on 99% of surfaces
Cons: Not perfect. Just darn close.
The Bottom Line: Excellent mouse for laptop and more. Very comfortable, usable, customizable, and extremely well-designed.
Review: Unless you have very large hands, this mouse is an EXCELLENT choice. Ergo design is near-perfect and doing computer work 10 hours a day, I have no ergo issues with this mouse. The smooth scroll wheel sets this mouse way above the others. If you don't ...

Great Point and Shoot Camera

by   m3bro ,  Aug 4, 2007
Pros: Fast start and shot to shot time, easy of use, light weight and stylish
Cons: I wish the super fast shot mode offer large images than 2 mega pixels.
Review: This Camera does exactly what is stated in the manual and advertisements. It is a very quick, easy to use Digital camera with very, very good photo quality. It performs better than camera's twice its price with regards to start-up time and snapshots. ...
