Shrek is back once again

I was a little skeptical when I had heard that they were making another Shrek movie. I did like the first one, the second one was not too bad, but what can they do for the third? My two and a half year old daughter is in love with Shrek, so naturally when this movie came to the theaters, we had to go and see it.

The movie starts out with Shrek and Fiona as newlyweds. Shrek is having to help Fiona's family as her father is very sick. Her father passes away and Shrek does not want to be king, so he sets out for a long journey to find the one relative who can be king.

As he is leaving for his journey, Fiona tells Shrek that she is pregnant, which makes him nervous. He is unsure that he will be a good father. This distracts him while they are on their journey to find Andrew, the long last relative.

I do not want to give away the rest of the movie, because I do not like to ruin the film for everyone. But, I must say that it is one movie you just have to see. I do have to say that it is not one of my favorite Shrek's, but it is worth the money to purchase.

My two and a half year old daughter absolutely loved Shrek the Third. It was so good that she actually sat through the whole movie, which is about an hour and a half. For a toddler to sit and watch something for that long, it's pretty good.

All of the characters from previous Shrek's are also in the third one. There is a few new characters, other princesses like Cinderella, and Rapunzel. Donkey and Dragon have their little babies in this show and you do at the end get to see Shrek's babies.

My final recommendation for Shrek the Third is if you enojoyed the first or second one, you should pick up the third. A lot of times they get worse as the collection gets bigger, but this is not the case. This movie is one to last a long time and is a big hit with the children.
