The Bottom Line: Decent enough if you can get it cheap but you may want to wait until fully digital video cameras come down in price.

Very Nice Hi-8 Viewcam for the Price

The Bottom Line: Excellent value for what you get. If you have a family like me, why not save some of those memories on a value priced camcorder like the Sharp VL-AH151U.

Not as good

Review: I have a VL-A10U just like this. The one I told you is that it plays tapes in black and white. When you tape, it is in color. It shows lines and it goes off like its dead but its a poor camera. Doesn't last long at all!!!

Review: this is a good camcorder for the price. light is sometimes a problem. easy to hookup to tv to view. can view on the camcorder as well which is very nice.
