Pros: low initial price

Cons: high ink costs, poor print quality

The Bottom Line: There is not much I could honestly recommend about this printer. Even the low price does not make this a good purchase.

We bought this printer at work a while ago to replace one that finally died on us. We were basically looking for something print out time cards and such. Nothing particularly fantastic. Despite the low price of the printer, the ink is constantly running out or drying up, with few print jobs, costing us a fortune. The print quality on plain paper is terrible at best, text is quite fuzzy and wavy. I haven't tried graphics on special glossy paper, so perhaps it's better at doing that, but I doubt anyone looking for a $50 printer needs professional photo printouts.
