This is NOT a convection microwave

I bought this model through Amazon.com via a link from epinions.com after my 13-year-old Sharp convection microwave stopped microwaving, which totals a unit that old. (Still bakes just fine, though.) Although the R-426H is powerful, has a large capacity and some nice features, nowhere in its instructions or control panel does it indicate that it is anything but a microwave. I was very disappointed after looking forward to having a microwave again to have to pack it back up and return it to Amazon.com. Bottom line, don't buy this unit if you're looking for a combination of convection and microwave. That is the only reason I don't recommend it.
