My husband and I were given this microwave as a wedding gift two years ago. The microwave we had before this one worked great...we did not think we 'needed' another one. I am SO glad that we were given this product because we probably would have never purchased it on our own since we had a microwave.
There are a ton of different settings. My personal favorite is the one-touch setting. Pop in a hot dog or some microwave popcorn, and press ONE button...the microwave does the rest for you. You can defrost or cook according to what you have and how much it weighs...very convenient for those nights you forgot to lay out meat for dinner!
This model is a carousel model. It has a turntable that allows the heat to be spread evenly. The glass turntable can be easily lifted out and cleaned. When it's dry, just pop it back in.
Although this microwave is advertised as a 'mid-size' it is HUGE, but it looks so sleek and compact. Our last microwave was a monstrous size and took up half the counter. This model is much smaller, holds more, and looks GOOD all at the same time.
An onscreen 'guide' assists you in resetting the clock, getting defrost settings completed and more.
We have seen this model at various stores, and were shocked the first time we saw the pricetag - 129.99! We had assumed that it had cost much more than this low price - it just does so much and 'looks' more expensive than that!
We have not had any problems with the unit. In our area, the power flicks off an awful lot (at least once or twice a week), so we have to reset the clock many times! With the help of the onscreen guide, it is easy as pie to get it set back up.
