Speedy does it.

This past Christmas I received a real surprise under the tree. A new microwave oven! This was something that, being a College Student, I wanted but couldn't really afford. So I was pleased beyond words.

I have waited a month before writing this review to give it a fair trial, but I must admit that I fell in love with this model the moment I first used it. In the past I have generally used microwaves that were a bit behind the technology curve so I was uncertain as to what to expect from this brand new one. It performs like a dream, with settings for everything from popcorn to frozen entrees and a few extras that really surprised me. Granted I don't usually use this oven for more than a quick meal but it is capable of being used for just about anything I might need.

The Sharp model 310c that I received has a carousel and I enjoy being able to just set it and walk away rather than having to hover to turn my food. It also has some rather interesting messages on the display when the food is done. The one I have the most fun with is "Enjoy" for popcorn.

Anyway I have found that this particular microwave is more powerful than anything that the frozen dinner makers seemed to realize was out there. I am unable to use the preset settings for most frozen dinners because they burn at those times or even at the time stated on the package. It was a minor problem but one easily solved by using the keypad to adjust the presets. Now I don't have to think about it I can cook and go and that is what microwave cooking is all about when your life is really busy anyway.

If I had ever realized how much a good microwave could ease my life I probably would have invested in one sooner. If you haven't tried a Sharp microwave out yet give it a go. It's worth the money.
