SHARP is an understatement!

I've had this television for about a year now. I did hours of on-line and in-store research on flat panel televisions and this Sharp Aquos LC-52D82U 52 inch HDTV LCD TV had the best overall qualities and features for the price. The picture is extremely clear and the color is beautiful. I won't bore you with all of the technical specifications that you can find on the Sharp website but will give you my opinion on the function and design.

What I Like:
- When using the correct equipment like HD cable and HD-DVD's the LCD is brilliant.
- Sound quality good for this class of television. Although I have mine hooked up to a home theater system.
- Easy to setup and install.
- Beautifully designed; slim and light weight. It can be installed on the wall with a bracket specifically designed for these types of televisions or place on top of a cabinet.

What I Dislike:
- Like other LCD TV's the price is high. And it you are like me and want to make sure you don't loose out on your investment you might want to add on an extended warranty than can add an additional $500 to the price.
- Need to purchase the wall bracket separately.

In a nutshell this was worth the investment. No regrets here. :)
