A WOW for SHARP

I was between the Sony Bravia and Sharp. Consumer Reports gave Sharp the edge so I purchased it, and I'm extremely pleased I did. Vivid color, and the clarity on HD channels looks better than my friend's Sony. Have seen no banding yet, and the sound is adequate enough. No TV has audiophile sound so if that's a concern get and hook up a stereo receiver. I have had other Sharp TVs and VCRs and they have never disappointed me. I have nothing really negative to say about this LCD TV. I have basic cable and get several HD channels free. The piano black cabinet is stylish and would look good in any room. Mine is mounted on the table stand. The viewing angle is terrific and you get no reflection in sun light like plasma TVs give. The 46 inch screen is plenty big 12 feet away. From channel to channel I do have to adjust the sound, and the user manual could be simpler, but otherwise this LCD is a winner.
