Cons:
I wish the base had a little more weight to it.
The Bottom Line:
I certainly recommend this TV at retail price or the deal I got. I have been nothing but happy and am still amazed at the detail sometimes.

Honestly, I never appreciated HD until I had it. I was fine watching my 32" tube. The week before black Friday I saw a circuit city deal for this television that was too good to pass up. An $1800 TV for $799. I actually didn't get one of the in stock ones, however circuit city allowed me to order it at that price and I picked it up next week. I have loved it so far for the last 2 months. HD cable with on Demand is definitely a recommendation, DVD up step player looks beautiful as do just regular DVD's. Honestly I am a newly converted HD believer. No banding or lag really. No complaints about anything however, I wasn't willing to pay $300 for an extended warranty on an $800 tv though. It would have been like 40% of the actual price. You really can't beat the Sharp brand name though, I feel very comfortable only having the manufacturers warranty in this case. I also have 3 cats, and my heart skips a beat any time I catch them on the tv stand because the base isn't really that heavy so it could probably be top heavy wobbly. I am looking into getting it wall mounted.
