Pros: Decent look at mid 19th century society opinions.
Cons: Overly tedious and misogynistic, go-nowhere plot and protagonist.
The Bottom Line: Get this one if you are into the French revolution or mid nineteenth century French society. If you're not, I can't recommend it; it is too tedious.
