with all the hype comes haters!

by   imconfused16 ,  Apr 29, 2006
Pros: very sensitive to any radar, cordless, extra long cord, many accessories.
Cons: battery pack a little big but still a great feature!
Review: this is a great radar detector! all the people who think that it doesnt work must not know how to work it. step one: turn it on! there are some false alerts, but nothing that gets annoying. it works so well for me, it detected a cop almost two miles ...

Love It!

by   tgix ,  Nov 23, 2004
Pros: Style, ultra compact size, functionality, performance and price.
Cons: Batteries not located inside unit. Also prefer louder alert volume and dimmer display mode.
Review: This unit is snazzy and works like a charm! I've had a Bel and a Cobra but neither compare with Silver Bullet in any category. It has great range, filtering is tops, display nearly perfect. Sensoro designers got it ...

Best radar detector I have ever used

by   ariklevy ,  Sep 3, 2004
Pros: No false alerts, small design, lots of accessories, good range
Cons: battery pack is bulky
Review: I've read the reviews and I don't know what these reviewers are talking about. The device may not appear to work to some people because it doesn't constantly go off like other detectors. This unit has a great filter, so when it goes off it is legit! ...

Silver Bullet has served me well!

by   rotwiler ,  Jan 2, 2006
Pros: Small size, price, indiglo blue warning light, easy to use and nice filtering.
Cons: Battery pack on windshield mount.
The Bottom Line: For a budget detector I feel the Sensoro Silver bullet is #1.
Review: Background: I have used many radar detectors over the years, all in the $100-$200 range and the Sensoro Silver Bullet has been the best of them all. There wasn't much information about the detector when I bought mine back in 2004, so I decided to ...

rx7500 cordless radar detector

by   htron ,  Dec 1, 2004
Pros: excellent anti-falsing
Cons: display is too dim in daylight
Review: This is the best detector I've ever had at rejecting false signals, by far. Areas where my previous detectors would go off are mostly silent with the rx7500. I think it goes through batteries too fast, though it seems to be better when I remember to ...

Different than the average detector....

by   preedy ,  May 25, 2004
Pros: Compact size, two cords, inexpensive, very good performance for the price.
Cons: No low light level setting for the display. Batteries not housed within the unit.
The Bottom Line: A good choice in the approx. $100 range, if the features are what you want. However, don't expect it to equal a Valentine.....
Review: Unlike the detector belonging to the first reviewer, mine was not a defective unit. This unit detected Ka at ranges comparable to several other detectors that I've used that are in the same general (list) price range. However, this model can be ...

Cute, small, but somewhat useless.

by   cmsxqt ,  May 27, 2004
Pros: Size, cordless, compass, mounting options.
Cons: Range, lack of backlighting, no pop protection, limited rear coverage.
The Bottom Line: Go for a different product. Sorry - I really wanted this one to work out!
Review: I was really excited about this detector. It had all the features I wanted AND got pretty good reviews from radar-detector.com. The only thing that they complained about was the windshield mount. I quickly learned how to use the windshield mount; ...

Silver Bullet- More like a plastic thumb tack

by   shoplmart ,  May 29, 2005
Pros: Cordless, 3.7 ounces..
Cons: Poor battery life, Gutless detection, everything else...
The Bottom Line: The Silver Bullet was a big disappointment. It simply wasn't effective enough to be of any real-world use.
Review: I purchased the Sensoro Silver Bullet RX7500 as a replacement for my beat-up Sensoro Traveller cordless radar detector. At a mere 75 dollars at Costco, I thought the Silver Bullet would be an inexpensive upgrade to my Sensoro Traveller. Alas, after ...

Not worth it, at any price!

by   taterhead ,  Aug 3, 2004
Pros: Small, Lightweight, Good Filtering
Cons: The range is far too limited to do any good.
The Bottom Line: Not really worth it, even at a good price.
Review: This detector actually does work. It's a really nice, small design and has some well thought out functions and programming. False alerts are fairly limited... the bad news is that the range is far too short to do much (if any) good. I generally get a ...

If you ask me, it does NOT work!

by   darkprod ,  Oct 13, 2004
Pros: Compact Size. Sleek design. Cool Silver color. Cordless option. Compass feature.
Cons: Very bad range. Didn't detect a direct laser hit. Compass feature needs constant aligning.
The Bottom Line: My conclusion: It looks pretty and promises alot. However, it does NOT deliver. Stay Away.
Review: I picked this up earlier this year. I was thrilled by the compact size and the fact that it is cordless. I found the compass feature pretty cool too! It has a nice sleek design and nice silver color. It is also economically priced for all the features ...
