Pros: works VERY well at knocking out outside noise, good bass response too
Cons: none really other than the cables can get caught up on things
The Bottom Line: A bit pricey, but well-worth it for commuters and travelers.
Review: Have you ever been really annoyed by outside noise while listening to music or radio with your headphones? Noise canceling headphones are the blissful answer. The way noise canceling headphones work is quite simple. Imagine the sound that radio ...

Pros: Noise Cancellation, Good Sound Quality, Comfortable, Foldable, Nice Bag, Airline Adapter
Cons: Noise Cancellation Device Quite Big, Sound Quality So-so with Noise Cancellation Off
The Bottom Line: A very good noise cancellation headphone. A must for travelers. A cheap way to solve noise issue at work place.
Review: What is Noise Cancellation Noise cancellation usually implies active noise reduction (ANR), although sometimes the passive ways to reduce noise can also be called by this name. Passive noise reduction uses sound absorbing material to reduce ...

Pros: Blocks out background noise, good battery life (~40 hours)
Cons: Not as portable or as "carefree" as standard headphones.

Pros: Performance, battery life, size, comfort, cost
Cons: Battery unit is too clunky
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this unit to anyone that commutes regularly, or works in an environment with a lot of background noise.
Review: Since I do a lot of flying, this pair of headphones is an absolute godsend. I tried out the Bose QuietComfort II as well as the Sony MDR-NC11, and I think the Sennheiser beats them both for a variety of reasons. Size and portability: The ...

Pros: great sound great noise cancelling
Cons: none really other than price
The Bottom Line: These are a good buy because they are great sound and the noise cancellation is as good as it could get other than the bose
Review: The first question is - Are noise cancelling headphones worthwhile and the second must be - are these particular ones any good? On the subject on noise cancelling I have the following to say - I get on the London Tube every day. The Tube must be one of ...

Pros: Knocks down the noise. Good Sound. Great value.
Cons: More wires. Realistic bass, but not enough for a funkmeister.
The Bottom Line: I heartily recommend these for anyone who travels by air, especially if, like me, you are somewhat claustrophobic. Knock down the noise, turn up the tunes, and tune out.
Review: I would describe aircraft noise as a combination hiss, hum and roar. The PXC 250 headphones do not remove it all, but they knock out the roar, leaving only the far less fatiguing hiss and hum. And once you turn on some music, the hiss and hum ...

Pros: Reasonable price, well made, good noise cancelling/blocking performance, good sound.
Cons: Control box can be awkward, don't block as much noise as over the ear 'phones
The Bottom Line: If you spend a lot of time on a plane (and I do), get these and an iPod. You will enjoy flying much more.
Review: I bought some Koss over the ear noise cancelling headphones and tried them on a cross country trip. Too heavy and too uncomfortable - I took them off before the trip was over and then returned them. Next I bought the Sony open air noise cancelling ...

Pros: Does a good job with noise reduction. Foldable = great portability. Sound is excellent.
Cons: Phones are tight, which can become uncomfortable after using them for a while.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended. Good noise reduction. Good value. Great sounding. Very portable.
Review: When I first set out to find the perfect Noise-Cancelling headphone, I initially found great reviews for the Bose QuietComfort 2. I instantly fell in love...then I saw the price! At $300 I just couldn't convince myself that it was worth it, but I gave ...

Pros: does what it promises
Cons: need to have them powered on even if you dont care about noise-canceling ability
The Bottom Line: Best in class- easy to transport, promised what it delivers
Review: UPDATE: I use these with 3 different iPods. I discovered that on LONG (12 hour) flights, the on-ear form design gets uncomfortable. I bought the Bose QC2 (over-the-ear) which are more comfortable, more expensive and bigger. I still think the Senheiser ...
