For Studio Use...

by   mandrake666 ,  Jan 8, 2006
Pros: Effective and super cheap. Good ambient noise reduction.
Cons: Lacks bass.
The Bottom Line: Fantastic value and crisp detailed sound at a cheap as chips price. Excellent in the studio but maybe not so for Hi-Fi.
Review: I've been building up my home studio bit by bit and wanted a cheap pair of headphones for studio use. Studio requirements are rather different to Hi-Fi requirements. When listening to music for pleasure you want the best possible sound, all the good, ...

Suprisingly good.

by   rainiz4slugz ,  May 19, 2006
Pros: Cost; XLNT sound; light weight;low impedence for portable devices.
Cons: A wee bit lean on bass.
Review: As Audiophiles have come to appreciate, a Pot full of money buys a Nickels worth of difference between "good" head phones, and "great" headphones. The HD 201 is a surprisingly "good" headphone. Most listeners will notice little difference between these ...

The Bottom Line: The Sennheiser HD201 is a good inexpensive way to get better sound from your portable MP3 or CD player or get decent sound from your home...
Review: Recently, Amazon.com had Sennheiser HD201 on sale for $10. Obviously, this is a ridiculously low price for decent enclosed headphones from a reputable brand. So I bought the HD201 to compare them to my Sennheiser HD202 ...

Value for the money

by   urmuz ,  Feb 5, 2006
Pros: Build Comfort Outstanding value for the money
Cons: None for the price
The Bottom Line: Good buy for the money, don't expect miracles though, again keeping cost in mind
Review: I got these so that my daughter could practice on her keyboards or play PC games without interference from my hollering. Let's start by saying this: if you crave for component interconnects that are insulated with unicorn hairs, this is definitely not ...

The Bottom Line: Great headphones for the price.
Review: Great pair of headphones if your on a budget. Sennheiser are known for their quality built headphones and these are no exception. I original bought them to plug into my amp and listen to my electric guitar "quietly". They performed pretty well at this ...

Sennheiser HD201 Headphones have lively sound

Pros: Good sound quality, comfortable to wear while using, two plugs fit any sound source
Cons: Large, not too comfortable (and dumb looking) when placed around neck
The Bottom Line: For decent sound quality at a budget price, you'll like the Sennheiser HD201 Headphones.
Review: I walk for exercise and when I do, I normally take a headphone equipped FM radio. These radios come with wimpy little headphones whose earpieces are foam covered. The sound is never very good. The foam eventually wears out and then you have hard plastic ...
