Pros: Quality build, frequency range, price ($80) but worth more
Cons: Only limitations are from its source, none from headphones
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Lots of great reviews for these headphones, therefore I probably will not say anything different... I no longer wake anyone else with gaming or music sources. These headphones are manufactured so well, full range, comfortable, and they feel like a...

Pros: Fine, uncolored, flat-response sound. Comfortable to wear.
Cons: Plastic headband component and cord failed. Home quality, NOT professional quality.
The Bottom Line: At $68 it's a good buy for home or occasional professional use. Great sound, comfortable & bound to fall apart.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I'm a career radio broadcaster and have been in the business for 34 years. I purchase and use my own 'phones on the air, so I take very good care of them. These 280s have been in use for about ten months for four or five hours a day, five days a...

Pros: Sound, looks, quality.
Cons: Crazy coiled wire.
The Bottom Line: If you get these headphones I think you will love them. Not much else to say.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Previously I was using Audio-Technica studio monitor headphones (M40fs) because I got a great deal on them about 2 years ago. The only trouble was I couldn't wear them for very long because they fit mostly on top of my ears a little too much and...

Pros: solid build quality, thick cushiony ear pads, laser sharp mids/highs.
Cons: Bass response
The Bottom Line: An audiophiles dream, but bassheads may want more.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I own the Sennheiser HD 212Pro cans and wanted to upgrade to these due to the larger drivers, more solid construction and the expectation of increased sound quality all the way around. After listening to them and doing a side by side comparison I...

Pros: Awesome sound, great range, very flat response
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Great headphones overall.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I bought these when my 7 year old Optimus headphones (~$50 pair) broke. These Sennheisers are a huge improvement. The response is completely flat, they are much more comfortable than my other headphones. After extended wear (a few hours) they are...

Pros: Accurate sound, versatile swiveling/folding feature
Cons: Not as "detailed" or "airy" as higher-priced headphones
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a mid-priced pair of closed headphones for both studio monitoring and DJ use, you can't go wrong with the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've tried various closed-back full-size headphones that cost up to $200 from mass-market brands such as Sony, and I was almost universally disappointed in them. So I went to a Virgin Megastore and plopped down $99.95 plus tax for a pair of...

Pros: Excellent sound quality, construction, and comfort. Price. Noise blocking.
Cons: Slightly quirky appearance, ear cups can get a bit warm with extended use.
The Bottom Line: See Overall Below.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Over the past few years, I have tried out (and reviewed) many sets of headphones from many different manufacturers. I have also tried a wire variety of styles and price ranges, from the $20 terrible sounding glorified earplug that is the Koss Spark...

Pros: Accurate, detailed, good deal, tough, comfortable.
Cons: Coiled cord, and they fold kind of awkwardly.
The Bottom Line: Solid in every respect, louder than you can listen to, GREAT sound, great value.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I bought these for critical listening, and tweaking that requires absolute accuracy, especially in the low frequencies. These phones achieve that and more. The bass is flat as a frozen pond all the way down. Don't be misguided by reviewers that say...

Review: Let me just start by saying that the Sennheiser HD-280 PRO headphones are absolutely amazing. They will allow you to hear detail and depth in your music that you never knew existed. With that said they may not be exactly what you want. Now on to the...
