Sennheiser HD 280 Professional Headphones

I've used the Sony V6 and the newer 7506 for a total of 10 years, since first getting into pro audio. I'd always liked Sennheiser headphones, but they didn't offer anything for the pro. So last year at the AES show, I noticed that the new 280 was at the Sennheiser booth (and they were everywhere else at AES, too!) Upon giving them a listen, I had to have a pair, so I ordered some from Musician's Friend for I think around $100.

Compared to the Sonys, they are more accurate (in my opinion), have bass that is more extended and not as bloated, and give better isolation. And wow are they ever efficient! I can raise the volume to a lower level and still get plenty of volume. I sold my 7506s on eBay not to long after getting these.
