Headphones designed for the (oxymoron ahead!) discriminating teenager

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2003
The Bottom Line: Great sound for a teenager, or that bassaholic that lives within all men.
Review: I need to start with a small preface, I love sound, I'm obsessed with it, and I listen to sound all day and all night on all different speakers and TV's and car systems. Due to my audiophile nature it is very possible there are things that would...

I'm sorry, I didn't hear what you said with my 212's on...

Date of Review:  Oct 18, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for isolation and good sound quality at under $50, this is the way to go. A solid performer!
Review: The Sennheiser 212 is the latest effort from one of the worlds top producers of headphones. In the past their lower cost headphones did not stand up to the acclaim that their higher end headphones rightly received. All that is changing.
Being a...

Does that "pro" in the name really mean something?

Date of Review:  Dec 13, 2003
The Bottom Line: These headphones very sound good if the EQ on your listening device has a negative setting for the bass. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
Review: If you're a music lover, you'll almost inevitably run into those situations where you want to listen to your music but those around you don't share your enthusiasm for music. In these types of situations, you have two choices. You can either suffer...

So that's what it's suppose to sound like

Date of Review:  Nov 7, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you like a little bass and midtones to give new life to your music than the 212 pros are a great choice for the money.
Review: When considering buying these headphones remember that they are "closed" headphones. This means that there will be no airflow by your ears and can get quite warm in there. If you plan to use headphones for prolonged time out in higher temperatures...

Great Buy - Recommend

Date of Review:  Oct 21, 2007
The Bottom Line: Buy them. Especially if you can get them used for a better price. They are great for travel by breaking down into pieces. For the price, I couldn't be happier.
Review: I got these for my birthday last month and was very pleased with them when I used them.
First thing that's really cool about them is the 3.5mm stereo jack comes with a 6.3mm (1/4in.) stereo adapter, and the cable is really long at about 10 ft...

Awesome Headphones

Date of Review:  May 8, 2004
The Bottom Line: Great quality and price!
Review: I am a radio DJ on an FM punk show here in Dallas, TX, and I must say - I love these headphones! They definitely get the job done! When I found out I got the DJ spot I needed some headphones quick, and didn't have much money to spend. I headed out...

Date of Review:  May 3, 2006
The Bottom Line: Incredible Headphones - Crisp Clean Sound, Powerful Bass, Comfortable, Great Price, Noise-Canceling - What more do you want?
Review: I purchased these headphones in December of 2004 for the sole purpose of taking them when I traveled. My wife and I travel, at times a great amount, and I always have to have some type of electronic toy to entertainment me on the flight. These...

Boom, boom, boom

Date of Review:  May 25, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you like strong bass in at $60-70 these are for you.
Review: These cans have a nice design, but rather poor sound. The overall construction is solid and backed by a 2 year warranty. A bit plasticky, but that's to be expected at this price.

The cans are detachable and are adjustable to a dozen fixed...
