Author's Review

I've got these phones to watch movies without disturbing my neighbors.
Here is the bottom line. They are light and fairly comfortable, albeit in warm climate your ears can sweat.
24h first charging cycle is a bit lengthy for modern batteries. However, since I've got mine refurbished, I guessed they've been already broken in, thus I've skipped the waiting and cranked them.
The impression:
1) They are not very loud. Not at all.
2) It can be that I am living in a frequency congested place, but when I am moving about my apartment, there are numerous spots where the transmitted sound is covered by static hiss. Happens on all the channels. Quite annoying.
3) As somebody suggested, if possible you should use a line out to hook them up, not the phone out. You won't be able to control the volume on the other side anyway as the transmitter have limited gain.
4) Get a spare battery!

Overall, these headphones do the job, but nothing to be excited about.
