Author's Review
At last one of the best sitcoms ever on DVD!Complete with bloopers!
For those of you who didn't know,Seinfeld was one of the most witty Tv series in the 90's. It was(and still is ) a quirky little sitcom that follows the often mundane lives of Jerry,George,Elaine & Kramer.
The reason this show is so great is unlike most Tv programs, the character's are somewhat believable.
CASE & POINT
In Larry David's New York, their are persons from every walk of life, faith and ethnicity.
Unlike some other shows about single professionals in New York,The character's don't live in lavish apartments, and they wear clothes that best reflect their personal style(or lack of)and personality.
Another wonderful thing Larry David does with this show that I love is,not only does he make his these 4 people hilarious, he gives them serious character flaws. These people almost never act as they ought to,they often behave rather terribly and no matter how many times they reap the consequences, nothing seems to phase them from getting what they want for themselves. That why Seinfeld appeals to so many people, we can sit and laugh at the ironic stupidity of so called " intelligent life".
Favorite Episode
The one where the foursome trek to a mall in New Jersey to
buy "World's cheapest air conditioner". Kramer forgets where he parked his car in this gigantic parking garage in they are stuck there for hours trying to find the car.
(to add insult to injury,Jerry and George are arrested for urinating in public.)
If you have ever lived in a big city, and have to park your car in one of these places on a regular basis you will appreciate this episode.
