Author's Review
When our 20 yr old canister started to fall apart, we went on the hunt for a replacement. With hardwood, carpet, and ceramic tile floors plus stairs we needed something that would "do it all". I checked every vacuum made - user opinions, etc. And I kept going back to SEBO because everyone who had one, seemed to love theirs. But then I had to decide which model. Decisions, decisions. Finally ended up with the K3 because I wanted small and light - easy to carry up/down stairs.
And this is the Queen of small canister vacuums!
First, cosmetics: Our Sebo K3 is red. She came with 2 extra bags and three attachment tools (crevice, dusting, and upholstery)
Now for the nitty gritty: There is a fingertip control on the wand to adjust the suction, so using the powerhead you can vacuum your lovely rugs and even those small throw rugs without the vacuum trying to eat them! The powerhead will lie almost flat on the carpet to get under beds and sofas! Can your vacuum do that? My old upright sure couldn't. The hardwood floor parquet brush is soft and swivels beautifully to get around corners and into niches.
There is no cord visible on the wand, it's internal - and both the powerhead and parquet brush connect beautifully with a small "click". The bag is super easy to change as is the HEPA filter. When you are finished, the cord automatically rewinds and the powerhead stands upright for storage.
And it's quiet!!! You will hear your phone ring when the vacuum is on. Trust me on this. And the dog no longer runs out of the room when the vacuum is turned on. She does it all, in a small, sleek package. Yes, the cost is more but you will understand why when you see how well it's built.
